I sold the painting at A-Kon 24.  While it's good that I sold it, I should have raised the asking price on it. As I walking out of the art gallery, a lady walking past me said, "hindsight is 20/20."

Well, I have finally finished that painting I based on one of my previous pictures. Here's a perspective photo of the final product.  The photo doesn't do the painting justice, though.

It was suggested to me to do some painting and possibly sell said painting because it may fetch a small sum.  So I have taken to painting :thumb290551824: because it has become the most popular in my gallery. It looks difficult because it has a black background.  I have tried my best to make the subjects stand out and look very much like the original picture.  I have also noticed that I should have bought viscous acrylics before I started this endeavour.  As such the painting has required a few coats.  I have even went so far as to use impasto on it.  I hope, the final product will look great, especially $20 to $40 great.

It looks like a lot of people liked my mash-up of The Binding of Isaac and Dead Space so I figured I'd mash-up another series.  This time I'm trying to paint it.  Or rather, I'm trying to paint it digitally.  Oy vey, is this one hard, especially since I can't use the lines of the under drawing to cover up mistakes.

May be I shouldn't submit artwork to groups so much.  I just got a bunch of favors for my picture mash-up of Dead Space and The Binding of Isaac and I had to thank each person.
